Netscape under OS/2

If Netscape crashes your system or you see a lott of "broken" images:

install the TCP/IP DOS box fix from:

    ftp://service.boulder.ibm.com/ps/products/tcpip/fixes/v2.0os2/pn82849

    APAR PN82849
This APAR is a fix in the DOS BOX kit to allow users to run Netscape under Win/OS2, and
Lotus Notes without hanging.  In order to install this fix, change to the tcpip\bin directory
    and copy the 3 files  (VDOSTCP.VDD, VDOSCTL.EXE and VDEBUG.EXE).  Install WINSOCK.DLL
in the TCPIP\DOS\BIN directory and reboot the system.  This APAR is for TCP/IP 2.0.
This patch is also available for Warp Connect (Server) by using the "Retrieve Software Updates" icon.
If your system freezes after a while when using Netscape:
update the following setting in netscape.ini:
    [Network]
    Use Async DNS=no
Test have been performed with Netscape 1.22N thru 2.0 with good results.

WARNING: Don't install fixes for problems you don't have!
